Mango

Mango is a 9-pound Chihuahua and miniature pinscher mix who wants one thing more than anything else: to be close to her people. She came to us after being surrendered by her owner and given away online. We knew we had to step in before she ended up in the wrong hands, and make sure she had the chance to find a safe, loving home instead.

Mango can be a little shy and nervous when she first meets someone, but once she realizes she is safe, her sweet personality comes through quickly. She truly loves people and wants to be part of whatever is happening around her. Her perfect family will be one that includes her in their life, whether that means relaxing at home, going for walks, running errands, visiting friends, or simply having her curled up nearby while they go about their day.

She has been wonderful with both dogs and cats and enjoys having other animals around. More than anything, Mango is happiest when she feels included. She is not looking for a home where she spends most of her time on the sidelines. She wants to belong to someone. She wants to follow you from room to room, be part of your routine, and know that wherever you are, she has a place there too.

Mango has already experienced the uncertainty of losing her home and being passed around online. What she needs now is stability: a family who will make her feel safe, give her time to settle in, and remind her that she is not going anywhere again.

She may be tiny, but Mango has a lot of love to give. She just needs the person who wants a little shadow by their side and is ready to make her part of the family for good.
