About Peanut

peanut has been through so much heartbreak and pain but is still the sweetest dog around. He was homeless for 2 years, being fed by neighbors. When they came to feed him one day they noticed his jaw had become severely broken. Animal cruelty runs rampant in Bakersfield and we knew someone had hurt him bad. We took him into our rescue and he has surgery on his jaw on October 13th. He’s the silliest dog around and absolute loves to play with other dogs. He loves to give kisses and nap with his human! He loves giving everyone affection

The right home

Any home

Peanut's adoption fee is 400, which covers their spay or neuter, microchip and core vaccines. Adoption starts with an application, a phone call and a short home video, followed by a meet-and-greet near the foster's home and a seven-day trial. Read about the whole process.
