About Moonie
Moonie is a German shepherd and Malinois mix who is as loyal as it gets. He's a love bug and adores children of all ages. Moonie is potty-trained, leash-trained and crate-trained. He's highly intelligent and has no health issues, which can be rare for this breed.
Moonie was rescued at three days old from the Carson shelter, along with his mom, his dad and an older sibling. While his mother was pregnant with her litter, her family moved away and abandoned her to starve, leaving behind the father of the babies and their one pup from a previous litter. Now all of the dogs are thriving, but Moonie remains.
Moonie's adoption fee is $400, which covers their spay or neuter, microchip and core vaccines. Adoption starts with an application, a phone call and a short home video, followed by a meet-and-greet near the foster's home and a seven-day trial. Read about the whole process.
