About Muffin
Muffin is a sweet, cuddly girl who loves her people and being the center of attention. She doesn't love other dogs, but she is good with cats and even bunnies. Muffin was on the euthanasia list at the SEAACA animal shelter, and she was so happy to make it out.
Because of her traumatic past, she can become a bit insecure when petted by strangers. Although she will tolerate it for a while, she can become reactive if petted for too long. Muffin wants to get to know you before you touch her for long, especially in vulnerable areas like her tummy. Muffin can be a bit of an escape artist, so making sure she isn't right behind you before you step out of the house is essential, or she'll squeeze between your legs to get out.
Muffin has a double cherry eye, but it doesn't bother her one bit. Otherwise, Muffin is a dream. She loves to play, she loves to cuddle while you're watching TV, and she's a total ham who will make you laugh with how goofy she is with her toys. Muffin would love a patient and loving family who can love her for the rest of her days.
Muffin's adoption fee is $400, which covers their spay or neuter, microchip and core vaccines. Adoption starts with an application, a phone call and a short home video, followed by a meet-and-greet near the foster's home and a seven-day trial. Read about the whole process.
