About Red
Red is a cuddly house hippo who is potty-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained, knows basic commands, and is a total couch potato.
Red's previous owners threatened to dump him in the desert after they found out they were expecting another baby and wouldn't have time for him. We couldn't let that happen, and we knew we had to try to find him a better life. He had only ever had one family, and they completely betrayed him. Now Red is in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever family.
Red's adoption fee is $200, which covers their spay or neuter, microchip and core vaccines. Adoption starts with an application, a phone call and a short home video, followed by a meet-and-greet near the foster's home and a seven-day trial. Read about the whole process.
